- Mars Gravity Biosatellite Program
We have been invited as a department to provide a small student team to work on this Biosatellite project (15 mice go into space, spin around, and come back - see link). The project is run by GA Tech and MIT and there is now a Stevens team who we would work with due to proximity. This is obviously a great opportunity for students, who will also go to Boston occasionally. What's involved is Matlab/Maple to solve rotational mechanics problems. Please check out the project website (www.marsgravity.org). The NJ work starts next Friday, so this is an as-soon-as-possible thing. The goal is 3-4 students, who should be ready to provide some bio/background info. Contact Phil Yecko (yeckop@mail.montclair.edu).
